Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Pinpoint — the browser extension, the MCP server, this website, and the account service (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.

The Service

Pinpoint captures UI context from web pages you inspect and helps you hand it to AI coding agents via clipboard or a local MCP server. Inspection runs locally in your browser.

Accounts

You’re responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. You must be able to form a binding contract to use paid plans.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service to violate any law or third party’s rights.
• Don’t attempt to circumvent entitlement checks, rate limits, or device limits.
• Don’t resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; lifetime purchases are one-time and may be limited to a number of device activations. Refunds follow Dodo’s policy; on refund or cancellation your access is updated accordingly. Prices may change with notice; changes don’t affect the current paid period.

Bring-your-own-key AI

AI actions use your own Anthropic API key, sent directly from your browser to Anthropic. You are responsible for your key, your usage, and complying with Anthropic’s terms. Pinpoint is not responsible for model output.

Intellectual property

Pinpoint and its content are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service per these terms. Content you capture from pages you have the right to inspect remains yours.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Source mapping and selector generation are best-effort and may not be accurate on every site or build.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinpoint is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms and will revise the “last updated” date. These terms are governed by the laws of our place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
